3 Day Gelli Print and Mixed media Workshop

Embark on a creative journey with me over three days:

Day 1: Dive into the world of vibrant collage papers using gelli plates, exploring color palettes with various tools and materials.

Day 2: Transform your creations into finished designs on mountboard and wooden cradleboard panels, ready to be displayed.

Day 3: Add intricate details and elevate your art with a layer of encaustic wax, witnessing the transformation of your pieces into unique, finished works of art or jewelry. Join me for a condensed yet enriching creative retreat.

Where is the workshop held?

The workshop is held in Inverness at "The Kingsview Christian Centre"

Balnafettiack Rd, Inverness, IV3 8YF.

Wheelchair access and free parking on site. 

What time should I arrive?

The workshop will begin on Monday 24th April. Attendees should arrive at 10.30-11 for introductions on the Monday. On the Tues and Wed Attendees should arrive at 9.45am in time to grab a cup of tea or coffee before I begin demonstrating. 

Are materials included?

Materials are included. I supply a 5x7" gelli plate but if you already have a  larger gelli plate you are welcome to use it during the workshop. I supply all the paint, paper ect.

Do you provide lunch?

As part of the cost of your art retreat a 2 course lunch will be provided by local restaurant "The Jammy Piece" You will be sent a menu prior to the workshop, so that I can order the food on your behalf. The lunch will be delivered to the venue at 1pm on all 3 days. Beverages will be provided by me. Tea, coffee, mineral water and sparkling water. 

Please notify me if you have any food allergies at the time of ordering food. Click here to view the menu. The restaurant does cater for gluten and dairy free diets. 

What should I wear?

Old clothing or an apron to protect clothing.

WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking

  • Please book online by visiting course pages.

  • Deposits are paid to secure your place at time of booking.

  • You will usually be contacted 6 weeks before the start of the course for full payment.

Cancellations

If I cancel

  • If I have to cancel the course for any reason, you are welcome to transfer deposits or full payments to a future date. Alternatively your payments will be refunded.

If you cancel

  • If you have to cancel your booking, it’s important that you let me know as soon as you can.

  • If you cancel 6 weeks or more from start date. You will be refunded any payments, less £50 admin fee.

  • If you cancel less than 6 weeks from start of course. We will do our best to fill your place and you will be refunded, less £50. If however we are not able to fill your place, no refund will be given. You are of course welcome to find someone to take your place as long as you send us their contact details.

All refunds are limited to payments made to the course fees. No travel or accommodation costs will be reimbursed.
